INCOMA, the training agency specialised in the management of vocational training, employment, entrepreneurial skills and languages based in Sevilla (Spain). INCOMA is in charge of proposing a Policy Framework Guide.

The guide will provide invaluable support to design a comprehensive training program for highly skilled migrant women. The guide will present a methodology on how the beneficiaries can maximise their career opportunities by nurturing their employability skills and becoming more self-aware of their strengths.

Among others the Guide will include:

  • Collection of case studies to show policymakers and stakeholders the challenges the migrant women face when they access the labour market
  • Events and activities to support migrant women in STEAM on a national and EU-level
  • Focus groups with migrant women in STEAM (5-8 participants per organisation) to define final modules for the Employability Booster
  • Recommendations and conclusions including a collation of Open Educational Resources (OERs) and Massive online Open Courses (MOOCs)

We are already on track, our next step is to integrate these initiatives, focus groups and case studies from each country in the Guide. Our intent is to implement all the activities in person as this is how we enrich each other but the COVID situation is not allowing us to do it. This project has great potential and is the creation of networks of migrant women, so meeting them in person would make our work more rewarding.
